I am a Flash Developer, but I don’t like to limit myself to just flash. I believe the future of the web relies mainly with platform independence and content propagation across multiple channels of information maintaining your data free. I’m a sucker for anything new, and love to work with API’s and mash-ups like there’s no tomorrow. I’ve been working with Flash for over 5 years, about 3 years ago I made a realization that Flash’s true power lies in it’s ability to control it through code. So I became an Actionscript junkie. Soon learning that just like spoken languages, i find no boundaries between programming languages, they all have their different uses and approaches, and they all share some best case scenarios. I pride myself in knowing how to mix and match the right type of solution at all times. But that’s just who I am as a programmer.

Although I probably do think, sleep, drink, an eat in code; I’m actually an extremely visual person. The marriage of mathematics, aesthetics, and beauty involved in creating highly engaging user experiences is what drove me towards being a programmer. Sometimes I have an easier time defining something by its vector velocity, or its integral function, rather than actually drawing something. It feels like having a built in renderer behind both eyes at all times.

My love for code is driven by my love for math, and my love for math drives me to enjoy alot of what the world has to offer, even if it might be something as meaningless as seeing a distinct pattern in the way people space each other on the bus on the way to work every morning, or something spectacular such as actually being able to comprehend the vast distances of space, black holes and all. Along the same lines, I love photography based on the fact that a picture can have so many mitigating variables, fstop, focal length, exposure time, light specularity, contrast ratios, all of which add up to a singular moment in time. As applied to life it’s an ongoing equation.
